2024 'Albert's' Vermentino

On the nose you get scents of banana blossom, grapefruit, with savoury notes and subtle white spice, very appealing. This wine offers incredible texture, it’s silky smooth with a plushness but held together with the underlining Watervale acid structure which keeps it lifted. As expected, there is a beautiful salinity, sea spray character to the wine, which is a characteristic of Vermentino. The minerality from the limestone soils is a show case, balanced out with fresh lemon curd, white peach and nashi pear.

2024 'The Fruitful' Grenache

A light, pretty, ruby colour on the eye. The wine offers a Campari like nose along with blood orange, raspberries, subtle herbs and spice. The pallet is very intriguing, the natural acidy from picking earlier keeps the wine lifted and lively, which is balanced out with a delicate velvety tannin structure. There is a real purity to this wine, fresh cranberry, raspberry, sour cherry and nanna’s homemade roll up come to mind. The site always offers an interesting graphite minerality that keeps you wanting to come back for more. If you enjoy Pinot Noir, this is a great alternate to give a go.

2024 'Countryside' Cabernet Sauvignon

The wine has an almost blue like colour which is very fitting considering the flavour profile. Such a pretty, lifted nose, blueberries, blackberry, plumbs, a hint of the Clare valley herbaceousness and a touch of cassis. A happy medium bodied wine, with amazing layers of spice, dark fruit, subtle tannin, violet, floral notes and again acid that gives the wine freshness. Great Cabernet can be drunk young, but it will always age and offer greatness through its journey. Drink this wine now, but please put some in the cellar and let it take you on the journey.

2025 'Lot Two Three' Riesling

On the eye you get a stunning subtle golden hue with a touch of fluorescent green. The nose is super floral, with hints of pine needle, a touch of white spice and freshly squeezed lemons. The pallet has a beautiful silkiness to it as soon as it hits, typical Watervale bright citrus characters jump out, along with gentle mineral characters from the limestone the vineyard is grown on, which also offers a touch of chalkiness, there is a real freshness and a pure rainwater character here, with a touch of tonic, which makes for the ultimate refreshment wine!

2025 'Sipside' Light Red

Beautifully light, bright, fluorescent cherry colour in the glass. The aromas sing harmoniously, there is so much going on, floral, spice, juicy red fruits, mixed nuts, savoury goodness, if we could bottle this up as a perfume we would. The pallet is straight up raspberries and cherries, the vermentino brings a touch of stone fruit and a nice salinity/minerality! The wine has an incredible balance of acid, flavour and phenolic texture, just perfect for this style of wine. Yum, Yum, Yum! Wow, we are extremely proud of this wine and how we have managed to get balance of red wine and freshness, this wine can be drunk at room temperature or it can be drunk straight out of the fridge, the perfect light red in our eyes!
