Bright red perfumed fruits leap from the glass, cranberries and raspberries, there is also a charming pretty rose petal, floral character. The wine is electric! Bright acidity strikes, lifting the bright red fruits, you think there is going to be too much acid but then it levels and balances out into a savoury, dusty tannin structure. This Grenache site always has a nice graphite minerality present throughout the wines, which you can see here.
