Energetic off the bat, with a mineral, crushed-rock spritz to the nose of the wine. The palate follows suit, but with racy acidity as the main event, supported well by classic lemon and lime. A touch salty, with margarita-rim appeal. There's a waft of almond nuttiness and just the mere suggestion of honey on the back palate. True and archetypal Clare riesling.
